SWF Embroidery Machine Repair
SWF Embroidery Machine Repair – Are these around still? yes they are! Well and truly. This is the circuit board from an SWF embroidery machine made circa 2000 in South Korea.
SWF no longer have any employee’s who have any idea how the machine works, those that did are now retired. The view of the new company is that it has lasted 20 years so our customer should move on to a nice new machine! This is happening so often! No surprise…..
Given that it performs all of its function’s except one as well as it ever did the customer does not accept this.
I am reliably informed that somewhere on these circuit boards it is failing to generate the correct output to make one small solenoid function correctly and all of its directional and sewing controls function perfectly but it fails to select the correct needle.
‘Send it to us’ I say, let’s give it our best shot!
Another Greasley Electronics challenge but in this industry, I’ve been fixing these for years so when it arrives, the mission is on!
Preventative Maintenance – Is this a good idea?!
Everyone has their car serviced every year. Everyone has the oil changed. Not many people get their electronics serviced. The same could be said for the SWF Embroidery Machines on an ongoing basis! Why do people wait for them to go wrong?! So yes, it is a good idea!
A car runs on both mechanical and electrical power and if the electrics were serviced regularly a car would be unlikely to break down.
At Greasley’s we offer preventative maintenance to ensure any type of machinery rarely breaks down saving time and money in a business. The running of these assets in a business are crucial and embroidery machine repair along with sewing machine repairs have always been a speciality here!
Saving money is what its all about especially in the current climate.
