John started off his career in electronics when the Sinclair Spectrum came out back in the day and was interested in electronics! At the age of 16 and after gaining one year’s training in computing John began work at Greasley Electronics in 1984. After completing his degree in Electronic Engineering he took over the company in 2007.
John continues to head up the sales and marketing side growing his customer base and ensuring his team deliver a fantastic customer service.
John’s achievements include being the ‘British Karate Champion’ for 3 years on the trot, ‘British Paintball Champion’ and in 1992 started playing golf in his spare time, in Leicestershire. The golf continues on a weekly basis countrywide incorporating business with his hobby, referring and gaining business on the golf course and he recently became the ‘President of the SLRGC’.
John is a drummer in a 60’s/70’s local band ‘The Generators’ and a modern covers band called ‘The Resonators’ which he loves and keeps him young!
Married with 2 teenage sons, John loves to socialise and has a very sweet tooth!
