Apprenticeship Schemes in Leicester
We are really pleased to share that Harry (18) has made a great start choosing one of the Apprenticeship Schemes in Leicester having joined the scheme at Leicester College in September.
Supporting youngsters through apprenticeships isn’t just a choice, it’s a necessity. Harry’s scheme offers the opportunity for them to take control and recording of their own training, not just 1 day per week at college but to prove 977 hours over the duration of the 4 year course. This includes, off the job training, skills and behavioural training, and assessments throughout.
At the end of the training a City and Guilds Certificate in Engineering will be awarded providing all training and assessments have been passed. Harry is loving all of the aspects of pcb repair and refurbishment and this will be reflected at college too.
Being a mentor is something John, the Managing Director really enjoy’s and his enthusiasm with all aspects in business and workplace training will reflect in Harry’s training and enthusiasm.
Let’s continue investing and shaping future leaders, it’s a risk of course, but often in business we have to take them. 🚀
If anyone wants to chat this through with us and we can share our experience so far with Leicester College, let us know. Their communication and commitment so far has been excellent.

When companies invest in their education and development, apprentices are more likely to stay with the company after completing their training. This can reduce turnover rates and save costs associated with recruitment and training of new employees.
