What’s working well at Greasley Electronics?
John at Greasley Electronics has been asked recently, as the Managing Director…’What’s working well at Greasley Electronics?’
Answer : Consistent marketing, great staff, good processes, and having the right work/life balance for all involved. What I mean by this is that the business can run without me being here all of the time. I have a Workshop Manager, Stuart Hockenhull who runs the workshop when I am out of the office in my Director/Sales role. I also have part time consultant growth partners, Sarah Beggan, who helps with consistent marketing in the form of news blogs, linkedin posts, google my business posts, retention of customers and touching base with them ever quarter.

Often we need to be adaptable and business approaches need to change depending on the time of year and we can all do that when needed. The lads in the workshop each have specific jobs, and skill sets to be able to do the range of work that comes in. There are 5 lads, and me, working on the pcb repair side, myself often out networking either on the golf course or at events that will benefit the business growth. One of the main reasons Greasley Electronics is thriving is because we have developed relationships well and fellow business referral partners understand how to refer me in to their customers.
So, the answer to the question, ‘What’s working well at Greasley Electronics’ is easy. We work as a team, prioritise our workload well and get those packages of circuit board repair items booked into our list the day it arrives. This is down to Izaac, our junior who books them in and then Stuart or John distribute the jobs in order of priority and urgency to the customer. Some businesses want urgent repairs, some don’t and our turnaround time has had to change a little recently due to our workload and of course the Brexit changes in obtaining parts for repairs. Our turnaround time is 20-25 days currently and for all printed circuit board repairs. We sit in the heart of England and all of the main motorway links in the UK. Greasley Electronics are the leading provider of this service and sit , just off the M1 near Leicester.
We couldn’t be prouder of our team and the way in which they work together and provide an excellent service to all our customers with pcb board repairs.
